Welcome to my campaign website. Thank you for your interest in my campaign to be elected a justice of the Third Court of Appeals.
I am running because I strongly believe that the Court needs to – and can – regain its reputation as one of the best appellate courts in the State of Texas, and that I can help in that effort. I served as a briefing attorney at the Court right after law school, and I watched and learned from the hard-working justices who served on the Court at that time. Although there have been improvements at the Court in the last few years, the Court still needs more hard-working justices who consistently issue timely, accurate, carefully considered, and well-written opinions.
I am honored that those listed in this website as supporters believe that my election will improve the Court.
I hope that you will take a moment to learn about me, my experiences, and my qualifications. It is critical that the justices who serve on the Third Court of Appeals answer for their performance to the people who hired them: the voters of the Court’s 24-county district.
